Men’s Soccer Hosts No. 2 NC State on Friday

BC looks to win its second-straight league match against a nationally ranked opponent
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Boston College men's soccer returns to the Newton Campus this Friday to take on No. 2 NC State in an ACC matchup. Kickoff is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. and the game will be streamed live on ACC Network Extra.
FIRST ACC WIN
• BC defeated No. 14 Virginia Tech, 1-0, on Sunday to earn its first ACC win of the year
• It marks the first time that the Eagles won their first road ACC game of the season since the 2013 campaign
• Andrej Borak made a career-high six saves to earn his third shutout of the season
• Jack Burkhardt scored his first collegiate goal, a penalty kick in the 39th minute
ACC WEEKLY AWARD
• Borak was named the ACC Co-Defensive Player of the Week following his performance against Virginia Tech
• It marks the first weekly award for Borak in his collegiate career
THE EAGLES
• The Eagles enter the game with a 4-3-0 overall record and 1-1-0 ACC record
• Johannes Hanken Tjostheim leads the Eagles in points (8) and goals (4)
