
Swimming and Dive Prepares to Host UMass

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College Men's and Women's Swimming & Diving returns to the Margot Connell Rec Center for its home opener on Saturday, October 4. The Eagles will host UMass beginning at 3 p.m. Live results of the meet can be viewed via the Meet Mobile app.Â
Scouting the Minutemen & Minutewomen
Saturday's meet will be UMass's season opener, led by head coaches Sean Clark and Maiya Otsuka, with assistance from Missy Bernosky. Clark and Otsuka are in their sixth and second years with UMass, while Bernosky is in her second season.
Last Time vs UMass
Boston College traveled to Amherst last season and swept both the men's and women's competition. The Eagles had 10 individual victories on each side, with Ben Huffman and Lauren Lee earning two wins each. Jack Doyle, Megan Kramer, and Samantha Smith were the other three athletes to record multiple first-place finishes.Â
Last Time Out
Boston College traveled down to Duke last weekend to compete in a quad meet with the Blue Devils, Marymount, and East Carolina. The women's team fell to Duke and East Carolina, while the men's team defeated Marymount but fell to Duke. Six freshmen earned multiple top-three finishes, with Palmer Bice, Evan Tack, Matthew Cinque, and Luke Amerson winning events. Lucas Bailey and Nick Fabian also finished in the top three in multiple events, with Bailey having the most with four.
