
Women's Basketball to Play in Daytona Beach Classic

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - Boston College women's basketball will head to the Sunshine State for a pair of games in the Daytona Beach Classic on Nov. 28 and 29 at the Ocean Center.
The field features six teams in Boston College, James Madison, Murray State, Wisconsin, Ole Miss and George Mason.
BC will face James Madison at 11 a.m. on Friday in its first matchup in the tournament. The Dukes finished 30-6 with an 18-0 Sun Belt mark and a postseason appearance in the WBIT. Boston College is 1-2 all-time against the Dukes, with the last matchup taking place in 2008-09.
The Eagles conclude the tournament on the following day against Murray State, who went 25-8 last season, a Missouri Valley Conference title and an appearance in the NCAA Tournament. It'll be the first meeting between the two foes.Â
