Women’s Soccer Plays to a Scoreless Draw Against St. John’s
September 14, 2025 | Women's Soccer
Queens, N.Y. – The Boston College women's soccer team (4-1-3, 0-0-0 ACC) concluded its non-conference schedule with a 0-0 draw against St. John's on Sunday afternoon.
The Eagles led in time of possession and in most offensive statistics, but were unable to find the back of the net. Goalkeeper Olivia Shippee added three more saves to the year in helping prevent a goal for the Red Storm while BC's sturdy defense limited St. John's chances in and around the box.
Boston College finished ahead in both shot attempts (10-7) and shots on target (4-3). The Eagles' backline held the Red Storm to just three corner kicks in the match.
The sophomore Ashley Roberts recorded three shots on goal, which led the game.
The Eagles begin conference play at home on Thursday, Sept. 18, against Pitt.
