CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. — Boston College senior Grace Campbell has been named the Hockey East Goaltender of the Week, the league announced on Monday.
Campbell backstopped the Eagles to a strong weekend against nationally ranked UConn, stopping 60 of 64 shots across two games to post a .938 save percentage and a 1.96 goals-against average.
The senior was sharp in Friday's 3–1 contest at Kelley Rink, turning aside 13 shots and keeping BC within striking distance throughout. She followed that performance with one of her best outings of the season on Saturday in Storrs, making 47 saves—including several highlight-reel stops—to lead the Eagles to a 2–1 road victory.
Campbell's consistency and poise in net helped Boston College split the weekend series and improve to 5-6-1 overall and 4-2-1 in Hockey East play.
