
Eagles Drop Home Match Against Duke

Newton, Mass. - Boston College (4-9, 0-6 ACC) lost 3-1 to Duke (6-7, 3-5 ACC) on Friday night in Newton.
Duke got on the board early with a goal from Madison Beach from Alaina McVeigh.Â
In the second quarter, BC successfully defended five corners from the Blue Devils with five blocked shots from the defensive unit to keep the score at 1-0 going into the half.
Duke put up two more goals in the third taking a 3-0 lead into the final quarter.
Laila Rosenquest scored the lone goal for the Eagles toward the end of the fourth quarter off a penalty corner. The final goal of the night was not enough as the Blue Devils won 3-1 over the Eagles.

BC will conclude their regular season play at home hosting UNH for the annual MS Awareness game on Sunday at noon followed by Syracuse and Louisville the next weekend.
