Eagles to host UNC, Virginia, Miami, Syracuse, Louisville & Notre Dame.
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. - The Atlantic Coast Conference has released the 2017-18 women's basketball schedule which features 16 games. Thirteen teams on the Eagles schedule competed in post-season action.
Of the 16 ACC games, 15 will be streamed live on the ACC Network Extra, while one game will be nationally televised.
"The ACC is the biggest stage in collegiate women's basketball. ACC play provides BC fans the opportunity to come to Conte Forum to watch us compete with the best players and coaches in the nation and our road trips take us to some of the finest and most iconic basketball arenas anywhere," said Boston College head coach Erik Johnson.
The Eagles already released their non-conference schedule last week. The team will open up the 2017-18 season against Bryant at Silvio O. Conte Forum on November 10. BC will host seven non-conference games including Fordham, Houston, Fairfield, Seton Hall, UNH and Maine.
ACC action for Boston College will start on New Year's Eve as the Eagles will play at Virginia Tech on Dec. 31.
BC returns home for two-games - North Carolina will come to Conte Forum on Jan. 4, in a game that will be nationally televised on a regional sports network, followed by Virginia on Jan. 11.
Boston College will head to Indiana to start a two-game road trip. The Eagles will play at national-power Notre Dame on Jan. 14, the first of two games against the Fighting Irish. Four days later BC will play at Clemson (Jan. 11). The next two games on the slate have BC playing two NCAA Tournament teams as the Eagles will host Miami on Jan. 21 and then head south to play at Duke on Jan. 25.
Next in line for the Eagles is a home game against former Big East rival Syracuse on Jan. 28. It is the first of two games against the Orange. The second home game in the two-game slate brings Wake Forest to The Heights on Feb. 1.
The Eagles will travel to NC State on Feb. 4 and then head to Atlanta to play at Georgia Tech on Feb. 8.
In the final two weeks of the regular season, BC will play four teams which played in the 2017 NCAA Tournament - Louisville, Notre Dame, Syracuse and Florida State. A three-game home stand begins with Pittsburgh (Feb. 11), followed by perennial NCAA tournament team Louisville (Feb. 15) and the Fighting Irish (Feb. 18).
BC will hit the road for the final two games of the season. The Eagles will play at Florida State on Feb. 22 and at Syracuse on Feb. 25.
