First-year forward Zach Walker is one of three skaters to join the Eagles from the U.S. National Team Development Program.
The 202-pound rookie skated in 64 games throughout the course of the season with the U.S. National U-18 Team and accounted for seven goals and six assists as well as 38 penalty minutes. As part of the United States Hockey League, Walker notched four goals and an assist within league play.
The Boise, Idaho native also participated in the U-18 World Championship in Grand Forks, N.D. this season and helped Team USA to a bronze medal with a pair of goals and two assists.
During the 2014-15 season, the 6-foot-0 right winger skated in 22 games for the U.S. National U-17 Team and posted three assists.
Throughout high school, Walker also participated in football and track & field.
