No.8 Eagles fall to No.1 Northwestern in the Final Matchup at ACC/Big Ten Challenge

Durham, N.C. - No. 8 Boston College (2-1) fell to No.1 Northwestern Wildcats (3-0) 2-0 on Sunday afternoon at Jack Katz Stadium to split the weekend in Durham.
At the half the Wildcats led 4-2 in shots with each goalie recording two saves resulting in a scoreless first half from either team.
Charlotte Kramer defended a one-on-one fast break to keep the score at zero for both teams going into the final frame.
In the fourth, the Wildcats pulled away with two goals from Grace Schulze, one with an empty net, to close out the game.
