Five Eagles Named to All-ACC Academic Team

CHESTNUT HILL, Mass. – Five Eagles were named to the 2013 All-ACC Academic cross country team as announced by the league on Friday. Junior Liv Westphal was also named a NCAA division I women’s cross country individual All-Academic honoree by the USTFCCCA.
To be eligible for consideration for the All-AC Academic team, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 grade point average for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during her academic career.
In order to be considered for the USTFCCCA all-academic team, honorees must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.25 or greater and must have finished as an All-American or among the 15 finishers (or 10 percent) in their regional meet.
Boston College’s men’s and women’s cross country teams were both honor as USTFCCCA all-academic teams. Programs must have compiled a cumulative GPA or 3.00 or greater to qualify for the award.
