WXC Takes 6th at ACC Championship

KERNERSVILLE, N.C. - The Boston College women's cross country team finished sixth out of 15 teams at the ACC Championship Friday morning. The Eagles had four runners finish in the top 40 and posted a team score of 151 at the 6k course in Beeson Park.
Liv Westphal led the way for the Eagles and finished third overall out of 140 total runners. She crossed the line 20:15. Morgan Mueller took second on the team and 31st overall with a time of 21:30. Junior Brittany Winslow (21:36), senior Elizabeth O'Brien (21:41) and junior Madeleine Davidson (21:45) rounded out the top five for BC.
Florida State won the championship with a team score of 52. Virginia (65) and Syracuse (108) took second and third, respectively.
BC will be back in action on Nov. 15 for the NCAA Northeast Regional in New York City.
