Blacksburg, Va. - The Boston College women's cross country team scored four members in the top 20 en route to a third place finish at the ACC Championships on Saturday.  The Eagles finished with 82 points behind Duke (67) and Florida State (35).

Sophomore Liv Westphal recorded a team best 20:32.9 while senior Jillian King finished right behind her with a time of 20:37.1 for the 6K race.  That mark for Westphal, the Limoges, France native, was good for a personal record for a 6K course.

Boston College's top five was rounded out by Bridget Dahlberg (15th, 20:54.8), Morgan Mueller (16th, 20:55.4), and Allison Stasiuk (33rd, 21:28.9).

Moira Kenny, Elizabeth O'Brien, Brittany Winslow, Elizabeth Hynes, and Madeleine Davidson also competed at the event for the Eagles.  Kenny eclipsed her previous 6K personal record by 28 seconds which was recorded at last season's NCAA Championships.

Violah Lagat of Florida State won the event with a time of 20:00.1.

Boston College will be back in action on November 9 for the NCAA Northeast Regional in Madison, Connecticut.
