WXC Takes Third at Rothenberg Invitational

EAST GREENWICH, R.I. – The Boston College women’s cross country team finished third out of six teams at the Rothenberg Invitational on Friday. The Eagles had a team score of 80 at the 5K course in Goddard State Park.

Elizabeth O’Brien led the way for the Eagles, taking sixth out of 57 overall runners, and finishing in a time of 18:07. Danna Levin crossed the line next at 18:32, good for 13th overall. Meagan Roecker (18:54), Margaret Mullins (18:55) and Claire Smith (19:15) rounded out the top five on the team.

Brown won the invitational with a team score of 22, placing five runners in the top eight overall.

BC competes next on Saturday at the Wisconsin Adidas meet.
