Chestnut Hill, Mass. -

Eleven members of the Boston College Women's Volleyball team were placed on the 2013-2014 Atlantic Coast Conference Academic Honor Roll. The ACC Academic Honor Roll recognizes academic excellence of student-athletes who participated in a varsity-level sport and registered a grade point average of 3.0 or better for the full academic year.

Boston College had 402 student-athletes placed on the honor roll. Along with a strong academic year, the volleyball team won all of their spring matches, including a 3-0 win over University of Connecticut, America East Conference Champions University of New Hampshire, Columbia University and St. John's University, among others. Along with All-ACC Academic Team Honoree Katty Workman, ten other Eagles players excelled in the classroom this year. Volleyball begins their 2014 campaign on August 29 in the Power Gym where they take on Holy Cross at noon.
