Eagles Fall to Connecticut in Three Games

STORRS,Conn.-The Boston College women's volleyball team fell prey to a solid offensive attack on Saturday, playing in the Jammin' Connecticut Classic against host Connecticut. The Eagles were taken 11-15, 4-15, 8-15. The loss drops them to 3-10, while Connecticut improves to 6-7.

BC was led by Amy Laurance's 10 kills, but the Eagles finished the game with 21 errors to just 30 kills. This was good for a .095 hitting percentage. Katherine Tortorello had 21 assists.

Connecticut did not have a player with double digit kills, but istead were lead by a team effort that gave up just 15 errors. Annette Rynn led the Huskies with nine kills and six digs.

BC plays Harvard later on Saturday.
