BC Women's Volleyball Drops Match to Brown

PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The women's volleyball team lost it's last match of the Brown Invitational to host Brown in three straight games 13-15, 4-15, 9-15. The loss drops the Eagles to 3-8 while Brown improves to 3-1.

Amy Laurence led the Eagles with 11 kills, and the setting duo of Claire Oswalt and Katherine Tortorello had 17 and 11 assists, respectively.

Brown received a solid effort from Tomo Nakanishi and Kathryn Rice, who each had 14 kills. Nakanishi was on Nakanfire, with a stellar .650 hitting percentage. Mary McMains had a match high 10 digs for Brown.

The Eagles take the floor again on Friday in Storrs, Connecticut aganist Idaho in the first game of the Connecticut Invitational.
