BC Women's Volleyball Team Cruises Past Colgate
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston College Women's volleyball team defeated
Colgate in straight games 15-11, 15-8, 15-10 at the Days Inn Volleyball Classic
Tournament.The Eagles hustled on defence with 4 different players with 10 or
more digs and conceived only a single kill in the first game.
Laura DeLong was unstoppable for the Eagles with a team-leading 17 kills and a
hitting percentage of .364. Julia El-Hag and Amy Laurence added 7 and 6 kills
respectively.
For Colgate, Lisa Breiner led the way with 7 kills and 7 digs in a losing
effort. As a team, Colgate were only able to produce 20 kills for the entire
match.
The Eagles improve to 3-7 with he victory, while Colgate drops to 6-4.
