Holy Cross No Match for Women's Eagles Volleyball
PROVIDENCE, R.I. - The Boston College Women's volleyball team needed just
one hour and fifteen minutes to defeat Holy Cross in straight games, 16-14,
15-8, 15-4 at Brown University.
The Eagles dominated all areas of the match allowing only three kills in the final game.
Leading the attack for the Eagles was Laura Delong with a team-high 8 kills,
a .400 hitting percentage and 6 digs. Meleana Blaick contributed with 7
kills and 6 digs. Setter Claire Oswalt served up 31 assists.
For Holy Cross, Janna Murgia posed the biggest offensive threat with 8 kills and 6 digs.
The match improves the Eagle's record to 2-7, and gives Holy Cross a starting record of 0-1.
