Women's Volleyball Splits Weekend Series
CHESTNUT HILL, Mass.-Over the weekend, BC split a weekend series in BIG EAST competition. On Friday evening, BC volleyball team beat BIG EAST Conference foe Rutgers University three games to two at home, in Power Gym, for their first BIG EAST win since beating Rutgers on November 4, 1995. On Sunday, October 5th, Seton Hall handed BC their first BIG EAST loss of the season three games to none.
The Eagles record now stands at 5-14 on the season and 1-1 in BIG EAST play, Rutgers falls to 11-9 and 0-1 in BIG EAST action, and Seton Hall improves to 11-7 on the season and 1-0 in the BIG EAST.
Boston College next game will be at home, in Power Gym on Saturday, October 11 against BIG EAST foe Notre Dame at 2 p.m.
