Volleyball Drops 3-1 Decision to Wake Forest

Chestnut Hill, Mass-Freshman Anna Skold logged a career-high and match-high 14 kills and outside hitter Katty Workman notched 12 kills along with seven digs in the Eagles loss to Wake Forest in Winston-Salem on Friday night.
The Eagles (8-15, 0-11 ACC) dropped the first two sets to Wake Forest (15-8, 4-7 ACC), 25-15 and 25-19, but came back to take the third set, 28-26. Wake Forest pulled through in the fourth set 25-15, winning the match 3-2.
Captain Kellie Barnum posted a match-high 37 assists to go with six digs while senior Melissa McTighe registered nine kills, three digs, and four block assists. Courtney Castle contributed with three kills and 17 digs and Amanda Yerke notched eight kills and 11 digs in the match.
Freshman libero Madison Lydon came through with a match-high 22 kills for the Eagles.
Boston College is now 4-12 all-time against the Demon Deacons and it is 3-4 against Wake under Chris Campbell.
The Eagles are back in action tomorrow in Durham, N.C. as they square off against No. 12 Duke at 6:30 p.m.
