Laura Johnson is a graduate from the Masters of Counseling Program at the University of San Diego. Her emphasis is College Student Services but her passion is working with student-athletes.
Laura's Bachelor of Arts degree in Education was achieved at The Ohio State University. While at OSU, Laura was a four-year scholar-athlete with the Women's Volleyball team.
As a setter, Laura was a part of two Big Ten Championship teams and two NCAA Final Four appearances.
Individually, Laura was a two-time All-America selection, Division I "National Player of the Year", Honda Award Winner and Ohio State Hall of Fame Inductee.
After graduation she continued to pursue volleyball professionally as a member of the USA National team. Laura represented the USA in major competitions worldwide from 1996-2000 and was an Olympic alternate for the 2000 games in Sydney, Australia.
Laura is a teacher and motivator who has a deep connection to athletics.
She and her husband Erik currently reside in Needham, Mass. with their three children Daly (4), Avery (2), and Davis (5 mo.)
