Huckins, McDonough, McKenna, and Winslow Win at Jay Carisella Invitational

BOSTON - Seniors Kelsey Huckins and Erin McKenna along with sophomores Brittany Winslow and Kristen McDonough scored wins at the Jay Carisella Invitational hosted by Northeastern University on Saturday.
In her only event of the day, Huckins set a meet record in the weight throw with a mark of 16.16 meters and recorded the second best mark in team history. McKenna also set a meet record in the 800-meter run with a time of 2:16.54.
Brittany Winslow notched a win in the 3000-meter run with a mark of 10:10.25 and Kristen McDonagh finished just ahead of teammate Taylor Aizenstadt in the high jump with a mark of 1.67 meters (5'5.75").
Molly Shine (mile), Carly Daniel (200m & 400m), Amanda Michaud (400m), Wilhelmina Moen (200m & 400m), Jacqueline Hannon (200m & 400m), Racquel MacDonald (500m), Molly McCarthy (800m), Ashlynn Fields (1000m), Margaret Mullins (3000m), Megan Ritchie (3000m), Hannah Heider (long jump & triple jump), and Gillian Burke (triple jump) all made their collegiate debuts.
The Eagles will be back in action this Friday at the URI Pentathlon in Kingston, R.I.
