Women's Track & Field Competes In ACC Championships

CHAPEL HILL, N.C. - The Boston College women's track and field team competed in the 2014 ACC Championships this weekend held at Fetzer Field at the University of North Carolina.

Sophomore Danielle Winslow led the way with a fourth place finish in the steeplechase with a personal-record time of 10:25.93. Sophomore Kristen McDonagh tied a school record in the high jump by clearing 1.72m which placed her in 10th. She also finished 11th in the heptathlon with 4465 points.

Junior Madeleine Davidson finished ninth in the 1500m with a time of 4:35.02. Freshman Fallyn Boich placed 11th in the javelin throw with a mark of 40.15m. The 4x400m relay team turned in the fifth-best time in program history at 3:47.16.

In addition, redshirt freshman Margaret Mullins (5000m, 17:18.82) and senior Elizabeth O'Brien (10,000m, 35:49.06) ran personal bests in their respective events.

The women will take part in the Penn Relays and the Skyhawk Invitational at Stonehill next weekend.
