Women's T&F Competes at Harvard Invitational

CAMBRIDGE, Mass. – The Boston College women’s track and field team competed at the Harvard Invitational at the Gordon Track and Tennis Center on Saturday. Freshman Claudia DiSomma led the way for the Eagles, taking fourth place in the 800m and meeting the ECAC qualifying standard with a time of 2:12.99.

Molly O’Dea also put up a solid performance, finishing third in the 400m (58.43) and sixth in the 60m dash prelims (7.89).

Christina Zelenoy (1:00.92, 10th), Jacqueline Hannon (1:00.95, 11th), Ashlynn Fields (1:01.06, 13th) and Camila Isern (1:01.30, 14th) all ran their collegiate best times in the 400m. 

Carly Daniel led the way in the 200m, finishing sixth in 25.78. Robin Gross took 12th (26.78), Racquel MacDonald finished 16th (27.11) and Gabriella Candelieri crossed the line 18th (27.13).

The Eagles had two 4x400m teams, finishing third (4:02.48) and fourth (4:04.82).

Boston College will be back in action for the New Balance Collegiate Invitational in New York on Feb. 7.
