Tiana has accomplished many firsts in her years as a BC. She is the first (and only) BC athlete to score at all the ACC Track and Field Championships since BC joined the conference in 2005. She is also the only BC athlete to score in two individual events in the same meet (in the 2007 indoor meet where she scored in the Pentathlon and the Long Jump). In the 2007 Outdoor meet she also scored in the Heptathlon and the 4 x 100m relay. She currently ranks in BC's top five performances all-time in the 55m hurdles (8.17), 100m hurdles (14.50), 200m (25.19), long jump (19'1.5"), triple jump (38'4"), Pentathlon, and Heptathlon.

AS A JUNIOR (2006-07)
Named team MVP along with teammate Kasey Hill. (Indoor) Placed sixth in the ACC Pentathlon...eighth in the Long Jump... placed fifth in the Pentathlon at the ECAC Championship meet, marking a personal record score of 3857 (Outdoor) Marked over 5000 points for the first time in the Heptathlon at the 2007 Texas Relays with a score of 5084...a provisional NCAA meet qualifier...placed thirrd at the ACC meet with a personal record score of 5200 points...also a member of the 4 x 100m relay team that placed eighth...won the New England Championships with a score of 5027 points...registered team-high marks in the hurdles, high jump, long jump, and 200meters.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2005-06)
(Indoor) Had a team-high fifth place finish in the Pentathlon at the ACC Championship, scoring 3608 points...placed eighth at the ECAC Championship with a score of 3494 (Outdoor) Placed seventh at the ACC Heptathlon with a score of 4664 points...placed sixth at the ECAC meet with a score of 4865 points.

Transferred to Boston College during the spring semester for the 2005-06 season...transferred from Villanova University where she ran in her freshman year...holds the New England high school record in the 55-meter her junior year was the national champion in the indoor pentathlon...has won nine state titles, including the pentathlon and heptathlon...two years in a row earned the Runner of the Year award from the Boston Globe...was named one of "Boston's Rising Stars" at the Paul Pierce Banquet.

Born Dec. 4, the oldest of Norman Riel and Tina Roses' two children...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as an English major.
