Freshman Wan-Yi Sweeting captured victories in singles and doubles for the third consecutive match, but No 63 Boston College fell to Boston University, 4-3, at the Flynn Recreation Complex Outdoor Courts in Chestnut Hill, Mass., on Wednesday afternoon.

The Eagles (9-8, 3-6 ACC) won the doubles point before the Terriers (11-6) took four of the six singles matches.

Sweeting teamed with classmate Katya Vasilyev to down Lauren Davis and Kim McCallum, 9-7, on doubles court No. 3 before Sweeting went on to defeat Leonie-Charlotte Athanasiadis, 6-0, 6-3, at the No. 4 singles spot.

Senior Alex Kelleher and sophomore Jessica Wacnik - the ITA's 78th-ranked doubles team - beat Athanasiadis and Jessi Linero, 8-5, at No. 1 to help BC earn the doubles point.

Senior Olga Khmylev defeated Linero, 7-6, 6-3, on singles court No. 5.

Next, Boston College hosts No. 1 North Carolina on Friday at 5 p.m. at the DHAC (subject to change).
