Women's Tennis Falls to No. 1 Duke, 6-1

DURHAM, N.C. - The 44th-ranked Boston College women’s tennis team fell to the top-ranked Duke Blue Devils, 6-1, on Friday night in Durham, N.C.

With wins on courts two and three, Duke clinched the doubles point.

The Eagles put up some hard-fought matches in singles, but Wan-Yi Sweeting was the only player able to secure a victory on court six. She defeated Annie Mulholland, 6-4, 4-6, 1-0 (10-3).

Boston College returns to action Sunday, April 13 at Virginia Tech.
