No. 62 Women's Tennis Sweeps Massachusetts, 7-0

No. 62 Boston College won all six singles matches to defeat Massachusetts, 7-0, at the Dedham Health & Athletic Complex in Dedham, Mass., on Friday night.

The Eagles (7-1, 1-0 ACC) won two of three doubles matches to earn the doubles point against the Minutewomen (10-4, 4-1 A-10).

Sophomore Jessica Wacnik and senior Alex Kelleher won singles matches on court Nos. 1and 2 respectively, and the duo teamed up to win on court No. 1 in doubles.

Senior Kelly Barry won on court No. 3 in singles and partnered with classmate Olga Khmylev to win on court No. 2 in doubles.

Freshmen Katya Vasilyev, Heini Salonen, and Wan-Yi Sweeting won singles matches.

Boston College returns to play tomorrow when it hosts Virginia Tech at the DHAC at 4 p.m.
