Women's Tennis Falls to Florida State, 6-1

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. - The No. 56-ranked Boston College women's tennis team (7-4, 0-3 ACC) dropped to No. 34 Florida State at the Scott Speicher Tennis Center, 6-1, on Sunday afternoon.

Florida State took control of the match from the beginning, claiming two doubles victories on court one and two.

Freshman Lexi Borr scored BC's only point of the afternoon as Florida State's Mia Vriens withdrew from the match on court three.

The Eagles continue on the road in a non-conference contest against Florida International on Tuesday, March 4. The match is set to begin at 3 p.m.
