Women's Tennis at Wake Forest - 4/14/13

AS A SENIOR (2014-15)
Spring: Competed at the No. 1 doubles spot (alongside Lexi Borr) and No. 1 spot in singles..went 11-13 (4-9 ACC) in singles play..went 14-4 (5-3 ACC) in doubles competitions..picked up ACC singles wins against Syracuse, Pitt, NC State, and against the No. 1 player in the state from North Carolina..took ACC doubles wins over Syracuse, Virginia Tech, Florida State, Louisville, and NC State.

Ranked #21 doubles team in the country in the ITA Preseason Poll with sophomore Lexi Borr. With this ranking the pair has automatically made it into the All-American Championship Tournament.

AS A JUNIOR (2013-14):

Spring: Earned victories in singles and doubles at the Bulldog Invitational (1/17-19)...competed at the No. 1 single slot and played exclusively at the No. 1 doubles spot with Lexi Borr...won doubles (8-4 with Lexi Borr at No. 1) vs. #13 ranked Clemson (3/30)...won ACC singles matches over Georgia Tech (3/14), Pittsburgh (3/21), Wake Forest (4/4), NC State (4/6) and Maryland (4/19)...earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Fall: Tallied two singles action and four doubles actions wins at the Brown Invitational (9/20-22), won finals in 8-4 (with Lexi Borr)...won two matches at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships (9/28)...won two identical 6-2, 6-3 in singles at the Yale Invitational (10/4-5)...won two matches in singles and won two matches in doubles (with Lexi Borr) to advance to the Quarterfinals at the USTA Northeast Regional Championship (10/19-20).

AS A SOPHOMORE (2012-13)
Spring: Went 12-6 (5-4 ACC) in dual-match doubles action and 7-12 (2-8 ACC) in dual-match singles play ... competed at the No. 1 and 2 singles slots and played exclusively at the No. 1 doubles spot with Alex Kelleher ... won ACC singles matches over ITA-ranked opponents against Miami (4/6) and Florida State (4/5); also won in doubles in both matches ... picked up doubles wins on court No. 1 over Virginia (3/22), Virginia Tech (3/16), and Massachusetts (3/15) ... captured singles wins at No. 1 over spring break against Long Beach St. (3/8) and Cal St. Fullerton (3/4) ... earned victories in singles and doubles on court No. 1 against Harvard (Feb. 23) ... won in singles (7-5, 6-4 at No. 1) and doubles (8-4 with Alex Kelleher at No. 1) in home opener vs. Syracuse (1/25) ... earned the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Fall: Went an identical 7-2 in both singles and doubles ... took three matches in singles to reach the quarterfinals and won four matches in doubles (with Olga Khmylev) to advance to the semifinals at the ITA Northeast Regional (10/18-23) ... earned one match victory in pre-qualifying singles play at the Riviera/ITA Women's All-American Championships (9/29-10/7) ... won the top singles flight at the Brown Invitational (9/21-23) taking three consecutive wins in the Black Draw.

AS A FRESHMAN (2011-12)
Spring: Compiled a 10-13 singles record, playing on the first and second courts ... finished the season ranked ninth in the northeast ... recorded a 13-7doubles record, 7-3 in the ACC, with partner senior Erina Kikuchi ... the pair finished the season ranked 10th in the northeast ... went 2-9 in the ACC, with wins against No. 24 Georgia Tech's Elizabeth Kilborn (3/24) and NC State's Titiana Illova (4/6), as the Eagles defeated the Wolfpack, 5-2, for the first time in program history ... also tallied key victories over Illova, 7-6,6-3, in BC's heartbreaking, 4-3 loss to NC State (4/19) in the first round of the ACC Tournament and No. 73 Harvard's Hideko Tachibana, 7-5, 7-6 (3), on court one (2/9) ... went on a seven-match winning streak with Kikuchi (3/17-4/10) with victories over Ryann Cutillo and Kayla Duncan, 8-6, of No. 35 Florida State (4/1), 59th-ranked pair Ashley Miller and Joelle Kissell, 8-4, of NC State and Romy Kölzer and Beatrice Blakely, 8-5, of Virginia Tech (3/17) ... began in the spring season as the No. 108 national ranking and the No. 4 ranking in the northeast region ... the national ranking marked the highest for the region.
Fall: Went 10-1 in the fall tournament season ... won flight, going 3-0, at the Brown Invitational (9/23-25) in BC debut ... also took both doubles victories with Kikuchi ... won flight as the top-ranked player at the USTA BJK NTC Women's College Invitational (10/8-10), defeating No. 2 Amber Li, 6-3, 6-4, in the finals after taking down No. 4 Vanessa Petrini, 6-4, 6-4, in the semifinals ... recorded a 3-1 doubles record with Kikuchi, falling in the flight A finals, 8-6, but defeating the No. 1-ranked team in the quarterfinals along the way ... fell to the sixth seed in the quarterfinals of the USTA/ITA Northeast Regional Championships (10/22-25) as a 17th seed, going 4-1, and losing first match of the career ... in the round of 16, took down the No. 1 overall seed, Hilary Bartlett of Princeton, in three sets (6-3, 3-6, 6-3) to advance ... seeded fifth with Kikuchi in double action, lost in the finals to BC counterparts, Olga Khmylev and Alex Kelleher, after beating out two ninth seeds.

Competed for Amos Alonzo Stagg High School for two years ... graduated from Kaplan High School online in 2011 ... ranked 26th nationally by and fifth in the state of Illinois ... advanced to the quarterfinals of the USTA National Open in 2010 ... captured the doubles title in the Vancouver ITF Championships in 2009 and was a singles finalist at the ITF championship in Montreal the same year ... was a member of the South American Tennis (COSAT) tour, competing against other elite youth players around the world ... reached the semifinals at the ITF Hawaii competition and Round of 16 in Colombia as a singles player in 2009.
