Competed in 100 and 200 fly throughout the dual meet season... a member of Brandon Twichell's winning fin relay team in the Dominican Republic... varsity letter winner... voted team co-captain for 2005-06.

Competed in 100 and 200 fly throughout the dual meet season... a member of David Herman's winning fin relay team in Puerto Rico... varsity letter winner.

AS A FRESHMAN in 2002-03: Qualified for the ECAC meet in 100- and 200-yard butterfly events and 50 free...achieved BIG EAST "B" qualifying times in the 100 and 200 fly while at the Princeton Invitational in 2002...varsity letter-winner.

BEFORE BC: Independent High School All-American in 1999 at Bishop O'Connell, Public High School All-American Honorable Mention in 2002 at South Lakes...Three-year recipient of First Team All-District, First Team All-Region, and First Team All-State honors...Named to the Washington Post All-DC Metropolitan team for three years...Voted captain of the South Lakes team her senior year which placed second at the Virginia AAA State meet...Junior National and U.S. Open qualifier in the 100 and 200 fly in 2000, 2001, and 2002...Swam for Curl-Burke Swim Club.

PERSONAL: Enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences as a communications major...The youngest of Steve and Nancy Winings' two children...Her father was an All-American swimmer at Bucknell University...Her brother Brian (UPenn '05) is currently a pitcher for George Mason University and was drafted by the Cleveland Indians.
