Attended Westwood High School. Lettered all four years. Southern Conference All-Star all four years. Team Captain 2011-2012. Team MVP 2009, 2010, 2011. Boston Herald and Boston Globe All-Scholastic 2011. MIAA Girls Fall DII 100 Free State/Sectional Champion Fall 2011. Team record holder in the 100 back, 200 medley relay, 400 free relay. Member of the National Honor Society.

From Westwood, MA. Daughter of Robert and Kathleen Vanasse. One brother John, a junior at Colby College. Swims for the Shawmut Aquatic Club.
