AS A JUNIOR: Helped break the 800 free relay mark for the third year in a row...recipient of the Leadership Award.

AS A SOPHOMORE: Helped reset the 800 free relay record at the ACC Championships...Broke Boston University's 200 free relay pool record at the Terrier Invitational...won the HM Groden Award for Outstanding Performance.

AS A FRESHMAN: Recorded a personal best in the 200 freestyle, breaking the school record at the 2006 ACC Championships...Member of the record setting 800 free relay.

BEFORE BC: Competed for Emmaus High School and Emmaus Aquatic Club...member of the 2004 and 2005 Pennsylvania state championship team...6 time District XI champion...received All State Honors in 2003, 2004, and 2005...9 time high school All American...Junior National and Sectional qualifier...school record holder in the 100 back, 200 free relay, and 400 free relay.

PERSONAL: Born October 15, 1987...enrolled in the College of Arts and Sciences...the oldest of Alan and Kathy Leahey's three daughters...Sister Colleen attends Georgetown University and Jen attends Mercersburg Academy in Pennsylvania.
