Veteran leaders and talented freshmen look to succeed this season
As a Sophomore (2012-2013) Selected as a member of the travel squad... At the Terrier invite finaled in all four individual events and had season bests in all four events... ... placed second of the girls team in the 150s championship over training trip...was selected for outstanding performance at the New England Catholic Invite as a member of the 200 freestyle relay... was chosen to travel to Washington DC to compete against George Mason and Towson... Traveled to Greensborough, NC to compete with the ACC team... At ACCs swam the 50 free, 100 butterfly, 100 free, and was a member of the 200 free relay... Turned in a personal best time in the 100 butterfly with a time of 58.26.
As a freshman (2011-2012) Selected as a member of the travel team and the ACC squad... At the terrier invite, finaled in three of four individual events and turned in best times in the 100 fly, 100 free, and 200 fly... Was named Outstanding Performance in the 100 butterfly at the meet against Bryant, the meet against Northeastern and the University of Houston, and the New England Catholic Invite.... Ended the season as the third highest scorer on the team... Also was second on the team for most first place finishes.
BEFORE BC: Attended Arlington Catholic High School. lettered all four years. Catholic Central League allstar all four years. team capatain 2010-2011. Boston Globe and Boston Herald all-scholastic for 2011. MIAA girls winter division II 100 fly state champion 2011. Team record holder in the 100 free, 50 free, and 100 fly. League record holder in the 50 free.
Personal: From Medford MA. Daughter of Edward and Judith Fothergill... Three brothers, Will, Mike, and Dan. Will attended BC. One Sister, Mary, who also swams at BC. Swims at the North Shore Swim Club.
