As a junior 2004-2005
Reset her 50 and 100 freestyle school records as well as the 200 free relay school record and broke the 200 medley relay record for the first time...was named co-MVP and complied the most individual points for the 04-05 season...named Female Student Athlete for the class of 06 for the third consecutive year...Named an Academic All-American, with a 4.0 tying for first among all other swimming Academic All-Americans...broke several Boston College pool records including a 24 year old 50 free record. Named Outstanding Performer or Outstanding Performance for individual meets seven times... made an NCAA B cut time in the 50 free...placed 3rd at Big East in the 50, 12th in the 100, 13th in 100 fly, 4th 200 free relay, 5th in 200 medley, 7th 400 free relay, 6th 400 medley...ECAC Champion in 50 free, 100 free, and 200 free relay, ECAC runner-up in 200 medley, 400 medley, 400 free relays, 4th 100 fly...set seven Yale Invitational meet records...set multiple pool records at Colgate, UMass, CCSU... recipient of the team's leadership award for the second year...her fin relay finished second on training trip...received HM Groden Award for Outstanding Performance for the 04-05 season along with all of BC's ECAC team...will be a co-captain for the 05-06 season.

As a Sophomore (2003-2004)
Named Female Student Athlete for the class of 06 for the second time...completed the season with the most individual points...was one of three Boston College Student Athletes to be named to the COSida Academic All-District at large national ballot...swam unshaved best times during the season setting several pool records at other competition pools...broke her hand in first preliminary event at Big East, a week later finished 18th in the 50 free at ECAC and was a member of the 3rd place 200 free relay team...recipient of HM Groden Award for Outstanding Performance for the 03-04 season for her performance against UCONN...recipient of the team's leadership award.

As a freshman in 2002-03: Set four school records in the 50 freestyle, 100 freestyle, 400 freestyle relay, and 200 freestyle relay...a recipient of the HM Groden Award for Outstanding Performance...chosen as the Class of 2006 Outstanding Student-Athlete at Boston College for all seventeen varsity sports...finished her season with 26 individual first place finishes and 12 relay firsts...placed 7th in the 50 freestyle and 10th in the 100 at Big East Confencences where she made an NCAA B Cut in the 50 freestyle...became Boston College's first ever swimming Academic All-American.

Before BC: A member of Bishop Hoban's High School swim team...a 15 time High School All-American and Academic-All American...a Pennsylvania High School State Champion...5 time State Runner-up, and has won 7 other state medals...named All-State 16 times. She is a 16 time High School District Champion, making her the most decorated High School District athlete of all time for Northeastern Pennsylvania...broke/reset over 75 team and area pool records...named Scholar-Athlete for her graduating class...captain of the team for two years and finished her high school career undefeated for in the dual meet season...a member of the Bloomsburg Area YMCA, Liz is a 2 time YMCA National Champion, Runner-Up and has placed in the top 16 at Y Nationals numerous times...is a YMCA State Champion...ran cross country, track, threw the javelin, and played volleyball for the Argents while also competing in an indoor soccer league.

Personal: Middle child of of Tom and Joan Byron...majoring in Elementary Education and Studio Art.
