Fall Schedule Set For Softball

The Boston College softball team has set the fall game schedule. The Eagles will play eight games this fall in preparation for the 2015 season.
The Eagles will open up at Boston University on Sept. 19 (4 p.m.), followed by two road games at Bryant on Sept. 20. BC will play host Bryant at 10 a.m. and then former Big East foe, Providence at noon.
Six days later Boston College will travel down Commonwealth Ave to play at Boston University at 4 p.m. The Eagles will head west and play at UMass on Sept. 28.
Boston College will then travel to Storrs, Connecticut to play at UConn on October 4 at 11 a.m. The team will close out the fall schedule at Harvard for a double-header on October 5. The first game will be at noon, followed by the second game at 2 p.m.
The Eagles are coming off a successful season as they advanced to the ACC Tournament for the first time since the 2008 season. BC went 30-23 overall and 12-14 in the conference. The 12 wins is a program high since the Eagles joined the conference.
