Assistant Coach

Third Season

Cori Van Dusen enters her fourth year with the Boston College softball staff as an assistant coach. Van Dusen is no stranger to Division I softball, having completed a four-year pitching career with the Providence Friars in 2004.

In her first season with the Eagles, Boston College compiled a 20-25 overall record and a 6-10 Big East mark. In year two for Van Dusen, the Eagles moved to the competitive Atlantic Coast Conference, posted an over all mark of 22-26 and 6-15 in the ACC. In 2007, the Eagles went 15-31 and 4-16 in conference, before recording the program's first-ever ACC Tournament victory with a stunning upset of North Carolina State.

During her own pitching career, she earned All-Big East honors and led the team with the lowest ERA each season. In addition, she set a school record for most strikeouts in a single season.

Van Dusen has spent numerous years working several softball camps throughout the area and country. She has been a part of the camp coaching staffs at five different camps in the last three summers. She also has spent time giving private pitching lessons.

A native of Riverside, California, Van Dusen earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in sociology from Providence in May of 2004.
