BEFORE BC Team captain as a senior at Maranatha High School under head coach Scott Sommers ... earned all-league, all-area and All-California Interscholastic Federation (CIF) honors junior season ... batted .505 with 41 runs that year ... tallied a .500 batting clip and 37 runs as a sophomore and .463 average and 25 runs as a freshman ... team advanced to the state finals in 2009 and the quarterfinals in 2010 ... did not play senior year due to injury ... earned Scholar-Athlete status ... also played varsity soccer and earned all-league and team captain honors ... played volleyball as well.
