Melissa Dubay joined Boston College as an assistant coach before the 2013-14 season.

Dubay was previously an assistant softball coach at Brandeis University from 2009-2013. Her primary coaching responsibilities included hitting, base running, and infield practices. She received UAA Coaching Staff of the Year honors with head coach Jess Johnson in 2010.

Dubay is also the Director of Softball Operations at the Legends Baseball/Softball Organization. She is responsible for organizational and player development, which includes overall recruiting and management of four youth development teams ages 12-16.

From 2005-2009 Dubay started at shortstop for Boston University. During here four years she was named to the America East Championship All-Tournament Team, earned America East Softball All-Conference honors three times, made the Louisville Slugger Northeast second team, and was East Coast Conference Player of the Week twice.

Dubay graduated from Boston University in 2009 with a double major in History and Amercan Studies and a minor in sociology.
