2011 SEASON
Started all 46 games, mostly at second base...led BC with three stolen bases...batted .185 in 119 at-bats, accumulating 22 hits, 10 runs, eight doubles, a home run and 11 RBI...had on OBP of .305, slugged .277 and fielded .961 on the year...went 1-for-1 against Georgia Tech (4/30), hitting a double to bring in one run...versus Dartmouth (4/27), had one hit, scored a run and drove in another in a winning effort...hit only home run of the year at BU (3/31)...recorded one RBI at Virginia Tech (3/26)...went 2-for-4 with a double and a run scored at Virginia (3/19)...batted 2-for-3, bringing in two runs and scoring once against Michigan State (2/12)...received the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement...ACC Academic Honor Roll.

2010 SEASON
Played in 44 games, starting in 39 of them...finished the season with a .224 batting average with eight runs scored and 11 RBI...led the team in triples with two...had a hit in 12 of the team's first 17 games which included a seven-game hitting streak...had a season-high two hits going 2-for-3 with a double and an RBI against Georgia Southern on March 6...hit the first triple of her career against Centenary College on February 20...received the Athletics Director's Award for Academic Achievement.

2009 SEASON
Played in 50 games, starting in all of them...finished the season with a career-high .241 average, collecting 33 hits, 17 runs, three home runs, and 12 RBIs in 137 at-bats...saw action at second base in 22 contests but used primarily as an outfielder...hit a walk-off home run against Harvard on April 16th in the bottom of the seventh inning to lead the Eagles to a 7-6 victory over the Crimson.

2008 SEASON
Played in 40 games, started in eight...finished the season with a .200 average, collecting six hits, 12 runs and 2 RBIs in 30 at-bats...tallied her first collegiate hit against Drexel in the Bronco Stampede Tournament...got her first start against Saint Peter's at home on March 25th...finished the last six games as the team's starting right-fielder...hit her first home run in a BC uniform against Virginia on April 27th.

BEFORE BC
Played varsity for softball for Coach Tom Tice since sophomore year...served as team captain her senior year as a second baseman...earned First-Team All-Trinity League awards in 2007...played in the Orange County Coaches All-Star Game in 2007...also played volleyball her freshman year of high school.

PERSONAL
Alison Kooistra, born on June 14, 1989...enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences...is the only child of Buddy and Debbie Kooistra.
