Had a breakthrough year ... one of five Eagles to start all 55 games ... ranked among the final NCAA Div. 1 statistics in four categories: Batting average (36th), Home runs (15th), runs batted in (17th) and slugging percentage (16th) ... set the school record for single-season batting with her .389 mark; brought her average up 22 points in the final six games of the season ... also set seven other school records: games played, games started, runs batted in (51), runs scored (39), home runs (14), slugging percentage (.745) and on-base percentage (.479) ... named BIG EAST Player of the Week on May 7 after leading the Eagles to a 5-0 record by batting .615 with eight hits (including two home runs) in 13 at-bats, driving in 10 runners and scoring eight herself ... collected multiple hits in 18 games, including a four-hit (4-for-4) performance to open the season against College of Charleston ... led BC in 12 offensive categories and was tops in the BIG EAST in three... drove in four runners in three different games and three runners three different times ... drew 25 walks ... stole 13 bases on the season ... her 61 hits is the second-best total in school history ... had six doubles and four triples ... had a .945 fielding percentage at short ... earned the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement and was a BIG EAST Academic All-Star.
AS A FRESHMAN (2000)
Started all 45 games at shortstop for the Eagles ... hit well over .300 for much of the season and still finished fourth on the club with a .271 average ... led the Eagles with 28 runs scored and drew a team-high 15 walks ... had seven doubles, two triples, and two home runs among her 38 hits ... showed excellent range at shortstop, committing just six errors for a .968 fielding percentage ... named a BIG EAST Academic All-Star and was honored with the Athletic Director's Award for Academic Achievement.
Three-time team MVP at El Camino Real High School in Woodland Hills ... captained her team in her senior year ... honored as league MVP in 1999 ...
