No. 21 Boston College women's soccer team is in Tallahassee today to play in the quarterfina of the ACC Tournament against regular season champion, No. 3 Florida State (8-2-0. The winner of the game will advance to the semifinal round and play either UVA or UNC on Friday, Nov. 2 (5 p.m.) at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina.
BC (10-6-3, 4-5-1 ACC) is coming off a 5-1 loss to No. 10 Virginia on Thursday night
in Charlottesville, Virginia. The loss placed the Eagles in the eighth position in the ACC standings, only to advance past Virginia Tech, due to the 2-1 victory against the Hokies in September.
The Eagles RPI is 20.

Just a week ago, Boston College defeated then-No. 1 ranked Florida State, 3-2, at home. Kate McCarthy, Stephanie McCaffrey and Kristen Mewis all scored in the upset victory. It was the first loss of the season for the Seminoles.
BC and FSU played battled in the first round of the 2007 ACC Tournament with the Seminoles earning a 1-0 victory,

The backline of freshman Lauren Bernard, sophomore Casey Morrison, junior Zoe
Lombard and sophomore Rachel Davitt have started every game. Morrison and Bernard
have logged the most minutes on the team. Bernard has recorded 1757 minutes played,
while Morrison has played 1694 minutes.
Senior transfer Alex Gaul has started all 19 games for the Eagles in goal this season. She has played 1668:18 minutes and has a goals-against-average of 1.51. Junior Jessica Mickelson has played in three games and logged 111 minutes.
The starters have recorded 33 of the 47 goals scored this season. They have also notched 34 of the 38 assists this season. The top scorer off the bench is freshman McKenzie Meehan with nine goals, followed by freshman Jana Jeffrey with four goals and two assists.
