Boston College needed a win to move into fourth place in the Atlantic Coast Conference standings. The Eagles defeated Wake Forest, 2-0, Thursday night at the Newton Soccer Field. The win vaults BC into fourth place and pushed Wake to fifth. Boston College will now host Wake Forest on Sunday, October 30 in the first round of the ACC Tournament. The game will be at 1 p.m. at the Newton Soccer Field. Admission is $8 for adults and $5 for students.

Gibby Wagner and Julia Bouchelle notched first half goals to lead the Eagles to its sixth victory in the ACC.
