McKenzie Meehan Notched A Goal In US U-20 Team Win

Boston College sophomore McKenzie Meehan made a sudden impact once she received playing time for the U.S. Under-20 Women's National Team. The teams is 2-0 and Meehan saw time in the second game. Meehan helped the US defeat Jamaica, 3-0, on Saturday as she notched the third goal of the game.

Meehan entered the game in the 72nd minute of the match and scored 10 minutes later. It was her first goal in her fourth appearance for the US team.

The team will play Guatemala tonight at 7:30 p.m. The US needs a tie or win to clinch first place in the group and earn a semifinal match on Jan. 17 against the second place finisher from Group B. All the matches are being played on natural grass at the Truman Bodden Sports Complex in George Town, Cayman Islands.
