UConn Beats BC, 3-0
STORRS, Conn. - UConn two-time All-American Sara Whalen tallied two scores as the #18 Husky women's soccer team defeated Boston College Wednesday evening.
UConn dominated the contest, outshooting the Eagles 27-1, including a 14-0 first half advantage.
Whalen got the first of her two goals at the 78 minute mark. Freshman Jen Carlson go the Huskies on the board first as she tallied a goal from the baseline. The goal marked Carlson's second game winning goal of the season.
