CHESTNUT HILL, MA.-- The Boston College Women's Soccer team defeated cross-town rival Boston University 1-0 today at home, on Shea Field. With the win the Eagles record moves to 6-4-1 on the season, while the Terriers drop to 8-4-1.

Boston College scored the winning goal at the 29:45 mark of the first half. Freshman Rachael Klemanski lofted the ball in front of the net for Megan Burns '99. Burns, from ten feet out, beat BU goalie Meghan Lynch '00 right to left, for the score.

On the day Lynch had only one other save opportunity, while BC freshman goalie Courtney Schaeffer stopped eight shots, enroute to her fourth shutout of the season.
