1999 SEASON: One of six Eagles to have started all 24 games...Tallied four points with one goal and two assists...Scored the game-winning goal against Brown, Oct. 27...From the sweeper position, anchored BC's defense, which finished 30th nationally with a 0.97 team GAA and 18th in shutouts per game with 12 in 24 matches...Powell helped Courtney Schaeffer total 416 scoreless minutes from Oct. 19 - Nov. 2 (Villanova)...Received College Buzz and College Soccer Online Honorable Mention All-American awards...Named to the College Buzz and NSCAA All-Northeast Regional First Teams...Also honored with a NEWISA All-New England First Team award...Selected to the All-BIG EAST First Team...Was named conference Defensive Player of the Week three times this season...Earned a spot on the Soccer America Team of the Week, Oct. 5 after holding the nation's leading scorer, Kelly Smith, to two shots on free kick opportunities to seal a 4-0 win over Seton Hall, Oct. 3.

1998 SEASON: Played in and started 20 games...Earned 1998 All-Northeast Second Team honors from the NSCAA...Earned All-BIG EAST Second Team honors...Finished with five points: two goals, one assist...Notched her first collegiate goal, the game-winner, in a 3-0 win against St. John's on Sept. 20. (in a game that was played on her high school field...Tallied her second goal in a 3-2 overtime win at Brown in regular-season finale on Oct. 28

1997 SEASON: Started in all 17 games...Posted 12 shots, including three during BIG EAST games...Earned Regional All-American Third Team Honors...Earned Rookie of the Year honors from her teammates.

HIGH SCHOOL: A four-year letterwinner and captain during her senior season at Natick High School...Finished as the school's all-time scoring leader with 43 goals...Named the Herget Division Player of the Year in the Bay State League of Eastern Massachusetts...Named to the All-State team and earned All-New England honors after her junior and senior seasons...She was a four year letterwinner in track and field, and participated on the school's gymnastics team during her senior year...A fine student athlete, she was a member of the National Honor Society and the Vice President of S.A.D.D.

PERSONAL: Born on August 13, 1979...Enrolled in the College of Arts & Sciences...She is the middle child of Peter and Joan Powell's three children.
