Mary Guarino, the Eagles' 1999 leading scorer, returns to the Heights this season to assist coach Alison Foley as they make a run for a return trip to the NCAAs. Guarino will look to translate her abilities on the field into the opportunity to help instruct her former commrades and this year's fresh young faces.

Guarino totaled 33 goals, 21 assists and 87 total points in her four years at B.C. In 1999, she captured NEWISA All-New England first team honors, as well as College Buzz and the NSCAA's All-Northeast Region honors. She was also named to the All-BIG EAST second team, and was named BIG EAST player of the week twice. Soccer America also tapped her for their team of the week once.

She is single and currently resides in North Andover, Mass.
