Three Women's Soccer Players Honored by the ACC

Stephanie McCaffrey, Hayley Dowd and Allyson Swaby earn conference honors.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2014)

Started and played in all 19 games … Notched a goal or assist in 11 of 19 games … Had five multiple point games … Led BC in scoring with 15 goals and three assists for 33 points, good enough for third overall in the conference … At the end of the regular season, Dowd led the conference in scoring and was third in points … Finished the season with five game-winning goals … Had two goals and one assist for five points in the win over North Florida … Had a five-game scoring streak from Aug. 31 to Sept. 12 and in that run scored six goals and one assist … Had two goals and one assist vs. Pittsburgh on Sept. 25 … Posted two goals vs. Virginia on October 9 … Had her second five-game goal scoring streak which started on Oct. 9 vs. UVA and ended on Oct. 26 with a goal against Duke .. In the five games, Dowd had seven goals … Led BC with 62 shots, 32 on goal … Named an All-ACC second-team selection and an NSCAA All-Southeast Regional second team honors … All-ACC Academic team honoree.
