Women's Skiing Dominates at BC Brown Carnival

The Boston College women's ski team placed third overall at the Boston College/Brown Carnival, as the MacConnell division visited a brand new venue at Wildcat Mountain in New Hampshire this past weekend. The Eagles, who placed four women skiers in the top 15 at the event, are now four points behind second place Plymouth State.

On Friday, Boston College placed three skiers in the Top 15 on its way to a fifth place finish. The team was led by junior Perrie Finsand with her season best 9th place finish. Freshman Laura Martini finished in 12th and senior captain Courtney Wilson was 14th. Senior Ashley La Cavalla and sophomore Erica Reilly , finishing 16th and 17th, placing just outside the Top 15.

Saturday's SL was a dominant showing for the women's team as the Eagles finished the day in second place. Led by a season best third place finish by Wilson , the team survived a challenging second run set. Finsand had a season best fifth place finish, followed by Martini in ninth, La Cavalla in 11th, and Reilly in 13th. Senior Christina Harostock had a career best 28th finish in her last race of the regular season.
